Bibles.net is a website that offers handpicked, Christ-centered resources to those searching for hope online.

Bibles.net is a website. It’s designed to answer your questions about God, Jesus, the Bible, faith, the tough challenges of life, and more. We provide resources in various media forms (video, podcast, article, song) to answer your questions in an engaging way. We choose resources that provide the best answer to your question based on what God’s Word, the Bible, teaches.

Our goal is to help you discover the Bible, but not as an end in itself. The Bible is the Word of God, and it tells one story about God’s Son, Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Bibles.net exists to help you discover the Bible, so that you might encounter Jesus through his Word, and find life and hope in him. We want to provide you with resources filled with God’s Word that will help you know God. Our goal is that in engaging with our content you would be transformed by God’s powerful Word, and filled with hope as you encounter the God who speaks in the Bible.

No. Bibles.net is a website we created to bring hope to those searching online for answers. We want to help them discover the answers that the Bible provides to their questions. We want them to encounter God through his powerful Word. Maybe one day we will become an app, but we believe we have a broader reach through our website.

Yes, a few. We sell a handful of Bibles, because we want those who take our Bible quiz to be able to purchase a Bible on our site. But selling Bibles is not our primary goal, nor does it take up much space on our website. We primarily provide you with multi-media content (articles, messages, podcasts, songs, quotes, books) that will direct you to the Bible, and inspire you to read, love, and trust God’s Word.

We know our name may be confusing. We purchased this domain because of how optimal it is for search engines like Google, so that people searching for bible-related questions can easily find our site!

Bibles.net is for people who are looking for hope, who don’t know where to find biblical resources because they didn’t grow up in church or are new to the Bible, like the hardworking single mom who needs encouragement each day and has recently come to know Jesus, like the soldier who is deployed and away from his church family, like that person you met on the plane wrestling with anxiety and needing help.

The message of the Bible centers around God’s rescue mission to save humanity. Only the desperate call out for rescue. The Bible tells us that only those who recognize their need for help and hope can truly receive its message.

We know that not everyone will hear what we have to say, and we are okay with that. We are here for those who are sincerely looking for hope and answers.

We expect Christians to also use our site, because the Bible doesn’t offer a one-time fix, but eternal life, a life-long journey of knowing Jesus that stretches into eternity. We need Jesus every day. We need hope every day. So we pray our site will also provide hope to those who already know Jesus too.

We learn from the Bible that success isn’t measured by profit, prestige, or prominence. Success is ultimately a matter of personal integrity. Success for Bibles.net looks like each of our team members going to bed each night with a clear conscience, knowing that we worked hard, faithfully represented the teaching of the Bible, and did everything in our power to introduce others to the hope we have found in Jesus. If we create a tool that honors God and provides people with hope in him, we have succeeded. We are content not to know how our site impacted the world. We leave that to God. He can determine our fruitfulness; we concern ourselves with our faithfulness to him.

We have no agenda other than to say what God has already clearly said in his Word. We believe that God’s Word is the ultimate authority for our lives and we believe it speaks to every cultural and political issue either directly or in principle. We are most interested in people learning to read God’s Word rightly, and trust that God will lead every person who trusts in him into the truth. We do not identify with any political party, cultural movement, denomination, or mantra. We only care to promote the Word of God, and Jesus Christ, our Lord. We want to help people understand the priorities of his kingdom, which will endure forever.
