Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for our friend visiting this page that you would turn their regret into repentance. Give them humility to acknowledge their sin before you and others in their life and seek Jesus for the forgiveness and new life he promises those who trust him. Help them believe that your grace and forgiveness are big enough for their biggest sins. Give them courage to take practical steps toward change, and your Spirit’s power to conquer this habit in their life. If they suffer under accusations as a Christian for sins in their past, silence the enemy’s voice by your Word that “it is finished” and “there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (John 19:30; Romans 8:1). Start them on the road of renewal, Lord, and increase their desire to live in a way that pleases you. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
