Prayer is powerful.

God has told us in his Word, the Bible, that he is near to us and he hears prayer (Deuteronomy 4:7; Psalm 65:2). He delivers us from all our troubles (Psalm 34:17), and walks with his people through their darkest valleys (Psalm 23:4). There is nothing too hard for our Lord Jesus, who has “all authority in heaven and on earth” (Jeremiah 32:27; Matthew 28:11). There is no person beyond Jesus’ saving help, for “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). And so, in response to his loving invitation to us, we pray to the God of the Bible.

Please pray that my husband, David - would say NO to sin and ungodliness-he has been having an affair for over 2 yrs and it seems to be a sex addiction for him - please pray that he would be overcome with Godly sorrow and repent. Please pray that all ties with this other would be forever severed and that he would return to the Lord, me, his family and that our marriage would be restored. We have been married for 37 yrs. Please pray that the schemes of the enemy would be exposed - and that he would be disgusted and repulsed by what he has done and continues to do and desire purity, holiness and righteousness. Please pray for me as I am now really needing to make some legal decisions - I do not want my marriage to end - but I believe it must --- but I truly believe it will one day be restored and he healed for the glory of God

I hate my family and struggle to forgive my parents for the way they’ve treated me. I have made mistakes myself when I was a child and hurt them and, after a “honest” conversation and prayers, believed all was well but that’s not the case. I still get treated differently and humiliated in front of others. My parents are pastors and I find their behaviour very contradictory to what they preach. I don’t want to have a relationship with them anymore but, I’m not sure if that’s God’s will for my life. I cannot bring myself to be around them anymore. My parents blatantly told me they have favourite kids and I’m not one of them. I’ve accepted that but I cannot be around them. I constantly fell rejected and have worked my whole life to gain their love and approval. Please pray I find healing and forgiveness. I really don’t want to see them again unless God wants me to. I also would like to meet a Christian friend with whom I can pray and learn more about God. Thank you very much and God bless you.
