Although the book of Isaiah was written around 740 BC during a politically tumultuous time in Israel’s history, the book tells a much bigger story. In Isaiah, God tells us through the prophet Isaiah about God’s character as well as his plan to save people from sin and restore people from every nation to a right relationship with him.
