New to the Bible?

Here’s where we would suggest you start. First read the Gospel of John (John 20:31). When you finish, read the other gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Reading the gospels will introduce you to Jesus, the main character of the Bible. Then, start reading Genesis, the first book of the Bible, which lays the foundation for all of human history.

When Should I Read the Bible?

QUOTE BY TRENT HUNTER

God has not told us when or how often we should read the Bible. He just told us we need the Scriptures in order to live: ‘Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ God’s words are life to us because of the life that is available through faith in Jesus Christ, who says, ‘I am the bread of life,

whoever comes to me shall not hunger.
